inside thrift store / Checubus, ShutterstockThe fourth international ReuseConex conference will be landing in Boston on October 17-19, 2016.

With four inspiring keynotes, a host of informative speakers and a unifying theme of “Leveraging Reuse in a Circular Economy,” ReuseConex 2016 will bring a range of stakeholders together to highlight the ability of reuse to reframe the conversation on sustainability.

The event serves as a unique opportunity to connect and share with the international reuse community and welcomes everyone interested in harnessing the truly transformative powers of reuse.

A growing list of more than 30 exhibitors will present their unique reuse-oriented businesses and strategies, touching on just how far a reach the industry has in today’s economy. Exhibitors will include major players in sustainable materials management, entrepreneurial upcyclers and time-tested resale shops.

During the conference, there will also several special events, including a tour of the local reuse community hosted by Boston Building Resources, a gleaned dinner hosted by Sustainable America, a zero waste training workshop hosted by Zero Waste USA, and a free screening of “REUSE! Because You Can’t Recycle the Planet,” hosted by the filmmaker Alex Eaves of Stay Vocal.
